      <image:title>About Zoe - Meet Zoe</image:title>
      <image:caption>Her ultimate mission is to train pregnant mothers to have an empowered pregnancy and birth and nurture them afterwards so they can focus on the most important job of all: connecting, loving and feeding their newborn baby. She spent a lot of time in her own pregnancy worrying about the birth of her baby, keeping busy with work and focusing on the aches and pains in her body caused by her growing belly. Her mental and physical energy was so focused on what could go wrong in birth, that she hadn’t stopped to think what it would be like to mother a newborn baby. Her adjustment to motherhood was stressful and overwhelming. She did what trusted friends and doctors said to do, sought advice from many different sources, not realising that this was the very source of her confusion. She was disconnected from her own intuition, lost in the noise of advice and information. The truth is many years after the birth of her first baby she realised that this state of mind had taken her away from focusing on the empowering aspects of growing, birthing and breastfeeding her child. Instead her transition to motherhood was plagued by anxiety and stress.  By the time her third baby came along, Zoe did things very differently. Inspired by the beauty of her third pregnancy and birth, Zoe now teaches pregnant mothers knowledge and techniques that help them prepare their minds and bodies for birth and beyond without feeling overwhelmed by the pains of pregnancy and labour and the exhaustive demands of parenthood. Influenced by the art and science of biodynamics, hypnosis, yoga &amp; ayurveda, Zoe helps mothers connect with their natural instincts to birth and mother - respecting the role obstetric medicine provides in keeping her and baby safe, while at the same time showing her how to honour the emotional and spiritual aspect of the journey. Zoe believes that birth is a hugely transformative event - a window in a woman’s life where she can reinvent herself, family and community. The way a woman chooses to birth, how she is cared for during and after birth has the ability to set the foundations for her life for years to come. For this reason, Zoe believes that birth has capacity to bring more love and connection into how we live and interact as people and as a species on this earth. Zoe has a 285+hours in yoga training, registered through the Yoga Alliance, is a registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher, a certified practitioner with Hypnobirthing Australia™, a Newborn Mothers Postpartum Professional, Body Ready Method® Certified Birth Professional &amp; a Dolphin Method Birth Doula (in training!). Zoe is also co-founder of Prana Harvest, an organic market garden producing fresh veggie boxes for her local community. Connecting and sharing her home grown food with clients is a unique aspect of Zoe’s postpartum doula services helping mothers feel nourished to the bone with nutrient dense, chemical free food filled with love and vitality.
